Previously, Skype has made the statement that they will add support for more Android handsets when they will launched their new Skype for Android a couple of weeks ago. Today they are rolling out the video support for additional 17 popular Android devices with the launch of their new Skype 2.1 for Android.
Please find the list of video enabled Android devices below,

- Samsung Droid Charge – Verizon (2.2) (US only)
- Samsung Galaxy S
- Samsung Galaxy S II
- Samsung Galaxy Tab

You don’t need to worry if you can’t find your device here because you can still enable video calling if you are using Android 2.2 ( Froyo ) and above. Just go to “Skype settings” and select “enable video calling” once the app is launched.
If you can’t find the video calling settings then your device doesn’t meet the minimum requirements needed to make Skype video calls. They have also mentioned that if your device is running on Android 2.2 (Froyo), then video call quality may not be as good as on a certified Android device and only the back camera of the device will work .
