Stringnote – Record Your Ideas On-the-Go
Everyone of us is busy these days and we spend most part of our day at work. And while working, there are times when some great business ideas flash across our mind. It is usually not possible to store these instant ideas in our memory throughout the day. We would have to rely on a note-taking app for this purpose. Even then, it isn’t possible to quickly pen down our thoughts as it takes time to get into the app, choose the desired option and so on.
How nice it would be if you were able to take down your notes in a jiffy with a tap on your phone? Amazed? Stringnote lets you do just that.
What’s the app about?
Evernote is a popular notetaking software that allows everyone to store notes in the form of videos, text, audio, pictures etc. Stringnote allows you to quickly post a reminder, note or photo to Evernote by double-clicking your device’s power/sleep button. Stringnote makes your note-taking process very simple.
Working of the app:
When you open the app for the first time, you will be asked to sign into your Evernote account or sign up for one. The successive steps take you to a screen which consists of Logout (from the Evernote account) and the Settings option. The screen also displays instructions on how to send a Stringnote and details of the strings you have tied last.
In the Settings screen, you would be able to set what kind of notes you are going to store. You can choose to take either a photo or a video for 15 secs. You could also alter the pre-text title and description of the note. Just double-click the power button of the Android device and your note will be sent to your Evernote account.
One of the features of Stringnote is that, it automatically records the time, a short description and your current location and sends it to your Evernote account. Users can edit and organize the notes in Evernote whenever they are free.
Stringnote has a very good interface and is in perfect sync with Evernote. The app is very useful for notetaking, saves your time and does not let any of your ideas get wasted. But the app has a very small title box which makes it difficult to edit titles. Other than this, Stringnote is the best tool to take instant notes.
Whenever you want to take notes while you are driving or talking to someone, just double tap your power button on your smart device and record it on-the-go.
Stringnote is a free app and it requires an Android version of 2.1 and above.
