The HTC Desire 626G+ Dual SIM
A Fantastic Addition to the HTC Family
The HTC Desire 626G+ is a great phone that reflects where smartphones are going in terms of technology standards. Two years ago, this phone would have been revolutionary. Now it’s a positive entry in a very competitive smartphone market.
The first consideration is the display, a 5-inch, HD 1280×720 display with a pixel density of 294 DPI. It’s fantastic not just for browsing, but works flawlessly for viewing content seamlessly in rich color. Moving along, the phone has an octa-core processor (though strangely it is running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat, whereas 5.0 Lollipop is in fact optimized for opta-core processors. The HTC Desire has a 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6752 processor in conjunction with a Mali-T760MP2 graphics unit and 1 GB of onboard RAM. The phone has a respectable 8GB of native storage, as well as expandability up to 32GB. Its camera power is rapidly becoming industry standard, a 5MP front facing camera and a 13MP rear camera. This will allow for the very good selfies with more depth for landscapes without even turning the phone.
Conclusion: Overall, this is a great phone. While some may say 8GB isn’t enough on-board RAM, there’s plenty of other reasons to love this phone, and it’s worth expanding. In a crowded smartphone field in 2015, the HTC Desire 626+ is keeping pace with the competition.
