Android Devices Still Dominated By Froyo
As per the latest news available, Android devices have totaled up to 70% with a lot of credit going to the release of Android 2.2. Recent updates have something better to say. It seems Android has taken a step higher and has reached a platform of 74.4%. This increase is due to the release of Android 2.3 and Android 3.1 devices which have been flying off the shelves over the last one month.
Besides this, there have been talks of upgrades on the Android 2.3. Despite all the efforts, the reports show that they were 5% below Gingerbread and now the difference has scaled up to 9.8%. Now that is an area of concern and the aspect to be noted is that it’s not going to get any better. On the other hand, they expect to face a huge fall as the year moves on. But things are a little hard to judge as of now and we’ll have to wait for a couple of months to see how it goes.
