The Chrome browser, which was introduced in 2008, is now available on Android mobile phones and tablets using the company’s “Ice Cream Sandwich” Android software. Chrome for Android features fast search and navigation. It also includes a “stack” system for collecting and sorting web pages. The stack allows you to organize pages on a phone or tablet. It offers tabbed browsing as well.

Another feature of this Chrome app is that there is an inbuilt “Incognito” mode through which users can surf the web without any trail. The browsing history can be hidden using this mode. Chrome for Android makes the tabs fit better on the smaller screen. It also synchronizes bookmarks across devices.

In a blog post, Mr. Sundar Pichai, a senior vice president in charge of Chrome and Apps said, “Chrome for Android is designed from the ground up for mobile devices. Chrome for Android Beta is focused on speed and simplicity, but it also features seamless sign-in and sync so you can take your personalized Web browsing experience with you wherever you go, across devices.”
