HTC Sensation – A New Sensation in Android
HTC Sensation 4G has been making news right from the day it was launched. It carries an attractive combination of powerful hardware and fluid software. This superphone promises good looks and killer user experience. Today we got a hands on experience with this device and let me try to assess its pro and cons in this review.
Hardware: HTC Sensation is the first U.S. phone to carry dual-core Qualcomm chipset, the 1.2GHz MSM8660 processor with the new Adreno 220 GPU. It has a gorgeous display, and slick user interface. The 8MP camera has auto-focus facility and dual LED flash. It can record 1080p video at 30fps with stereo sound recording. The 4.3-inch qHD display provides plenty of screen real estate. One should accept the battery life at six hours of talk time as good if not terrific. This phone is made of high-quality metal, glass, and plastic and feels very solid in hands. Sensation has 1 GB storage and 768 MB RAM.
Features: This phone sports the latest version of the Sense user interface, with Android 2.3 running underneath. The customizable lock screen works similar to the newlyrel=“nofollow”>announced iOS 5 lock screen. It saves users time when they want to access frequently used items. HTC Sensation 4G comes loaded with HTC’s new movie and TV show streaming service, Watch which lets users download videos and start watching them immediately.
With a gorgeous design, Sensation 4G has some great specs and the updated Sense looks pretty. However, this device faces a similar “death grip” issue that plagued the iPhone 4. It occurs when the user lay the phone flat in the palm of their hand. HTC Sensation may be a bit too much for the average user, but its ability to serve the power is endless. This phone is one of the very best devices that run Android.
