Solitaire by Brainium Adds Colors to the Classic Game
One could find Solitaire everywhere these days. As this game is a popular choice to kill time, it is in computers, iTunes Store, Android Market and in many other app stores. I found the latest one in this category and this is from a popular developer, Brainium.
I think most of us are familiar with the rules of Solitaire. The objective of this game is to put all card types into piles in numerical order starting with an ace and ending with a king. Brainium is a popular player in Solitaire making as already one of their products is performing well in the App Store. Let us look how the Android version works.

If players got struck, they can readily avail help from the ‘Hint’. From ‘Options’ they can enable sound and status bar or opt for Draw 3 or Left-Handed mode. Users can also change the Back Style and Backdrop with the default options or by choosing images from the gallery.
I could find a few downsides in this Solitaire. Generally, when a user wants to close an app, he would hit the ‘Return’ button at the bottom. However, Solitaire makes users tap the ‘Home’ bottom to close the app. Apart from this small hiccup, Solitaire looks fine in all aspects.
Brainium’s Solitaire is one of the well-designed apps out there. It works with lower end devices, but it would struggle a bit on them. This app was released only few days ago and it is compatible with Android 2.1 or up. Solitaire by Brainium is a free app, but there is another Brainium Solitaire (Solitaire+) available in the Android Market for US $0.99. If you love Solitaire, you can give this app a try!
